Coil Nails

Product Description:

Product Overview

Coil nails are fasteners consisting of multiple nails arranged in a row and coiled into a spiral. They are composed of individual nails of the same shape and equidistant arrangement, connected in series by connectors such as copper-plated iron wires, and then rolled into a coil. They offer advantages like efficient and convenient installation as well as space-saving storage, making them widely used in construction, decoration, furniture manufacturing and other industries.

Product Features

  • Space-saving: Nails are coiled into a spiral shape, significantly reducing storage space and facilitating carrying and transportation.

  • Quick installation: When used with automatic nail-feeding equipment, they enable fast and continuous installation, improving work efficiency.

  • Wide application: Suitable for various materials, including soft and hard wood, bamboo products, and ordinary plastics, meeting the needs of different construction scenarios.

Specification Parameters

  • Material: Common options include Q235, 45# steel, SS304, SS316, and copper. Other materials like Q195 and 201 are also available upon request.

  • Length: Typically ranges from 25mm to 150mm, with specifications such as 2.350MM and 3.190MM.

  • Diameter: The nail diameter usually ranges from 2.1mm to 4.3mm, and the shank diameter ranges from 2.10mm to 3.8mm.

  • Head diameter: Mostly between 5.0mm and 8.0mm, with head types including flat, cup-shaped, and grid-shaped.

  • Surface treatment: Includes polishing, electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, mechanical galvanizing, and heat treatment. These processes enhance the nail's rust resistance and appearance.

  • Coil angle: Common angles are 14-16 degrees.

Product Classification

By Shape

  • Smooth-shank coil nails: Have a smooth surface without threads or rings.

  • Ring-shank coil nails: Feature rings on the surface, suitable for scenarios requiring firm fastening.

  • Threaded-shank coil nails: Have threads on the surface, ideal for applications with high tensile force requirements.

By Material

  • Carbon steel coil nails: Used for connecting general wood and plastic materials.

  • Stainless steel coil nails: Offer excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, suitable for environments with high corrosion resistance requirements.

By Application

  • Pattern nails: Headless design.

  • Steel strip nails: Boast a novel and unique style.

  • Code nails: Often used for fixing sofas, leather, and boards.

  • Concrete steel nails: Similar to round nails but with thicker heads, suitable for hard materials like concrete.

Application Scenarios

  • Construction industry: Used for wooden structure buildings, roof truss fixing, and wall panel installation. They quickly connect wooden components, improving construction efficiency.

  • Packaging and logistics: Fix panels to pallets and crate structures, or for secure packaging of large goods to ensure stability during transportation.

  • Gardening and fencing: Install wooden fences, hedges, and garden supports. They effectively connect wood and frames, suitable for outdoor use.

  • Furniture manufacturing: Used for splicing solid wood furniture frames with decorative materials like gypsum boards. They play a role in fixing panels or mortise and tenon structures, enhancing the overall stability of furniture.
